At the end of June, the RSK Biocensus project management team got together in Coventry for a training and team building day which was lots of fun! Using the metaphor of jigsaw puzzles, we explored how we link together on projects, complementing each other’s specific skills, and looked for missing pieces. We tried to do jigsaws blindfolded, following instructions from our team-mates, and discovered the tactics that people play when racing to complete a puzzle but find that some of the pieces are mixed in with those of another team! We learnt a lot about our ambitions for the team over the next year, and celebrated all the things we have achieved this year.
To get to know each other even better, we all brought some food, with a story to tell – from our favourite lunchbox snacks, to regional specialities, to family recipes and famous bakes, it made for a really delicious lunch!
Our team is growing to fit the needs of the business, supporting our specialist ecologists and providing the services that our clients need. Our recent recruitment has been a great success, but we are always looking to hear from project managers, particularly with expertise in ecology and environmental projects.
