RSK Biocensus is continuing to strengthen its ecological service offering across the UK following an announcement that ecologists from Plan for Ecology are joining the team.
The experienced and skilled team of seven, based at the Tremough Innovation Centre, near Falmouth, and led by Kim Jelbert, will join RSK Biocensus as part of RSK Group. This supports RSK’s strategic growth in the South West, with the team moving into the existing RSK Biocensus business (bolstering it to 200).
Plan for Ecology’s portfolio ranges from single housing plots and the modernisation of listed buildings to large residential and industrial developments, pipeline installation, wind turbines and solar PV farms.
RSK Biocensus Managing Director Tom Smith said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming the experienced Plan for Ecology team into RSK Biocensus. Its expertise and strong regional presence will be a valuable addition to our business and will help us continue to grow and support our clients across the South West.”
Kim Jelbert, Plan for Ecology Founder and RSK Biocensus Associate Director, said: “I am excited for the Plan for Ecology team to join RSK Biocensus. This acquisition will allow us to expand our capacity, deepen our expertise and offer a broader range of services, all while maintaining the same expert team and quality of service that our clients know and trust.”
